After doing over 300 Vtuber spotlights, I’ve become well-versed in reading various lores and writing about them. It’s trickier than you think because the devil is in the details sometimes; however, it’s worth it in the end. Now what happens when a detail is missed or done incorrectly? Well, in my case, I’m just corrected before the article goes live, but for Bonnie Dusk, that was an entirely different story, one you get to read right here.

Bonnie is a fan of all things horror and did some extensive studying of The Great Fox Mother, a being known as a goddess of blood. Fascinated by what she learned, she attempted a ritual to her and thought she had read all of the lore correctly. However, an important detail was missed, and the ritual resulted in Bonnie becoming a bit like a vampire. She found herself unable to handle the sunlight and possessed a powerful thirst for blood. Following this, she decided to live life as a shut-in, but this is a very lonely life, so she dove into the world of streaming to create all kinds of wonders and share them with people all over the world.

As you might have guessed, Bonnie has a particular love for horror games and will often play games that she’s obsessed with at the time. Those include Resident Evil games, Promise Mascot Agency, Is This Game Trying to Kill Me? and so much more. She’ll also host special events such as one-off tabletop RPGs and has something amazing planned for October. Her favorite horror game of all time is World of Horror, and all month she’ll be doing an “All Achievements” run of the game, which you can catch live here on Twitch.

She’s also an amazing artist and even did the header you see above. If you want a commission for yourself, then head on over to her Ko-Fi page, where you’ll find various options for fans of art and those wanting to get into VTubing. If you want to stay up to date with all of her amazing events, then make sure to also check out her Bluesky and give her a follow.
