Throughout my time doing this series, I’ve gotten to learn a wide array of terms that I’ve never heard of before. Today is no different, as I learned what the word Babiniku meant. I’ve featured a number of individuals who identify as men who use female-presenting models, and turns out that’s what Babinku means. So let’s hear all about the tale of the Babiniku Elf Gyaru Vtuber, Cara Carousel.

Cara’s story of becoming a Vtuber actually revolves around the term Babiniku. A friend told him what the term meant, and he thought it would be a fun idea to use that as an avenue into content creation. Now, as you’ve seen, he has a first and last name, not the most common trait for Vtubers. That is inspired by his YouTube channel, as his channel was intended to be a 24/7 video game streaming channel that he called Video Game Carousel. After becoming a Vtuber, he adopted part of the name into his Vtuber persona.

When tuning into his content, you can enjoy as he plays games including Battle Circuit, Final Fantasy (first time I got to mention this series without numbers), Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, and more. He also hosts a regular show while using a handy Vtuber social site called Vupechat. After testing the site out a bit, he turned it into a talk show called “The Cara Carousel Show” and has since featured hundreds of Vtubers.
