Inspiration comes from all places and in all forms. However, nothing inspires us more than our own experiences and the people around us. The story of KJK Comics is one heavily inspired by heritage and friends to create a tale that truly represents who she is. Now, how about we take a moment and enjoy our latest Vtuber Spotlight.
The name KJK has a story all on its own. Originally, the name was Kojewki on Deviantart and shortened later to KJK, but the individual parts of the name all come from things near and dear to her. Ko for the Japanese word for child, Jew to represent her culture and religion, and finally Ki, which is Japanese for Tree.
Her model also has further nods to her background. The off-toned raven design reflects her origins. Her heritage is from the wolf athabascan band, which is primarily interior; however, where she was born and raised in a coastal region, represented by the raven band. So her model was intentionally designed off-tone to represent this duality. You can find more about the Athabascan here and the history and language groups here.
Her streams include nods to so many amazing friends who have supported her along the way. You’ll see trinkets spread out on the background representing individual people to visualize how her friends built up her content as she continues on this journey. In the corner of her streams, you’ll also see a small nest full of her adopted children. They are adults now, and they all got to pick how they wanted to be named and represented in her streams.
Striving to create a warm and inviting environment for all her streams encourages everyone to pursue their dreams. She has a cozy bird cottage where her friends can visit, which is how she does fun collabs with her Vtuber friends. She plays the occasional game, but most of her streams are of her showing her art skills as she brings creations to life. She does commissions for art on VGen, and you can enjoy watching her work on them live on Twitch. If you need any more convincing, check out the amazing work she did below.
