Did you know reapers need to use the restroom? Me neither, but turns out they do. Now, normally, this goes as you would expect, but for Grem the Reaper, one day this ended up horribly bad and changed their fate forever. Find out how this happened in a tale unlike any other. During a normal workday at the Death Offices, Grem really had to pee. They really had to go, so they rushed as fast as they could to the nearest restroom, but as they approached the door, they no clipped. Finding themselves in a mysterious and gross backroom, they wandered all alone until they stumbled on a public bathroom. That reminded Grem of why they rushed in the first place and immediately went to the nearest stall.

Unfortunately, their troubles were far from over. They found themselves sucked down the toilet and in what might have been a room, but clearly filled with a gooey, black, slimy mold. There was no way out, but thankfully, being a Grim Reaper has its perks. In this case, immortality and teleportation, so they simply popped back into the Death Offices. They rushed to report their findings to the boss, who was already quite familiar with the “backrooms”. No reaper wanted to be assigned there, and he continued his explanation till it was interrupted by a loud splash. Part of the slime clinging to Grem dripped into the boss’s coffee cup. That was when he realized slime was tracked all over the place, footprints, handprints, it was everywhere.

The boss was infuriated and immediately called on a special contract, one that would give Grem a permanent assignment to the backrooms. They knew there was no way out of this, so they signed the contract, and the office around them disappeared. Once again, they were in The Backrooms, their hands and feet turned, and the light was so bright. They saw a bright green smile on the wall that moved as they did. As they checked themselves, they found their face seemed normal, but their hair was shorter, and some kind of black blob was on their head. Their clothing was replaced with torn, slime-covered garments with melted yellow on them. Heeled boots were replaced with black rubber ones. With each step, the floor melted and pulled as they ventured forth on a new and strange life.
