Vtuber Spotlight: PizzaMaid

There is a universal truth regarding our actions: we always have a choice. Regardless of the intensity of the situation or the various outcomes we face, in the end we are always faced with the decision of what to do. The story of PizzaMaid involves an android that was supposed to be built as a weapon for war, but her creator had a more optimistic idea because hope always prevails.

The world will soon see state-of-the-art combat mech pilots. PizzaMaid, designated prototype number P1224-M41D, was built and trained using the greatest series of video tutorials known to humankind: VHS footage of 90s anime. These training simulations prepared her for the harshest scenarios, but not for parking. She frequently parked her mech unit, DOMIN-0, illegally while stationed on Earth. The heads of the fleet grew tired of these infractions and decided to punish her by making her the Captain of the spaceship Pioneer 23. There’s no way she can park that illegally, right?

Pizza’s operating systems and software come with the most advanced safeguards. However, bits and pieces of data, scripts, and communication logs were obtained when other M41D Androids and their mechs were delivered to the Pioneer fleet. They came from a mysterious entity simply known as the Principal Engineer, but one recovered message stood out amongst the rest. “I have done all that you asked of me. These prototypes are to be my final project and ultimately? My legacy. When I was requested to make these requisitions for your fleet, I was asked to create instruments of war to turn the tide of battle. I want you to understand that, in tow, I chose to make an instrument of hope. I want you to learn how peace can be achieved without having to spill the blood of your brother.” This was the final message of the Principal Engineer, who is presumed to be deceased; however, whether that is the case, their hope lives on through the actions of his creations like PizzaMaid.

When she’s not piloting a spacecraft, she can be seen streaming to tons of fans. She’s an independent English-language Vtuber who focuses on games from the Phantasy Star franchise but will add other JRPGS, MMOs, and other games that were inspired by the series. So if you want to join in on the fun, make sure to check out her streams on Twitch, but if you can’t make it to her streams, she also posts her VODs here on YouTube.

If you want to further support her work, then make sure to also head over to her socials on Twitter/X and Bluesky and give her a follow. She posts a lot of cool stuff, and as of the time of writing this, she finished a charity stream where she raised over $4,000 for SAVE, Suicide Awareness Voices of Education, which you can find more about right here.
