The tale for today involves a Vtuber named Pank who traveled in time to learn something important, only to be stuck centuries from home. The header art is by ashbelEro.
Starting about 40,000 years into our future, Pank was given a mission to go back in time to discover what led to humanity’s extinction. What caused an entire species to just disappear from the face of the earth? So they traveled back in time, and in a week it was perfectly clear: it was capitalism. Armed with this knowledge, they tried to return to their own time but found they were trapped in a captalistic hellscape. Now they use their talents to survive the harsh environment by streaming live on Twitch.
Pank has a love for turn-based strategy games including Xcom and Phoenix Point as well as visual novels such as Teenage Exocolonist, Scarlet Hollow, and Citizen Sleeper. However, they also love to venture out and experiment with other genres. They’re currently diving into Soulslikes, so fans can watch as they play Lies of P, Sekiro, and Another Crab’s Treasure. They stream regularly on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays and also do Theme Days with Finish it Fridays and Spooky Sundays right here on Twitch.
