Brilliance can be a heavy burden, so heavy that it can sometimes lead to ill fortune. As we look at the tale of Viatrix we find someone who strove to use their skills for the good of many, only for the greed of a few to intervene. Though it’s very hard to keep a brilliant Vtuber down.

Viatrix worked as a master artificer who used their talents in the field of Arcano-Tech to make unbelievable advancements in the field of bio-medicine. This was to help bridge the gap between high magic, often limited to those in prestigious academia, and those without arcane potential. The idea was to make life easier for the average person, but she had a big project on the side. In development was a portable device that allowed for easy travel between different realms.

Word of this project got out, and a man with a clearly fake smile, overly priced suit, and ill intent found his way to her doorway. The man introduced himself as Silas and made every attempt to persuade Viatrix to part with the tech; however, she refused. He walked away, but was far from done.

A month later, on a seemingly ordinary night, Viatrix was dragged out of bed by the city watchman. She was accused of unethical experimentation and misappropriation of guild funding. Furthermore, there were conveniently timed accusations where people were showing up to the ER in bad shape, having augments matching designs made by Viatrix. The accusations alleged she kidnapped and did horrible things to them, and thus, she was stripped of her title, merits, and home. She was forced to leave the city, but failed to notice the armed guards in the shadows. Before realizing it, she was struck by gunfire and, in an effort for survival, rushed to her workshop. The bullets struck her left arm and the right side of her face, but she managed to reach her portal maker in time. Though one of her arms was not all the way through when the portal closed behind her.

After an eerie silence, she found herself bandaged and in the company of someone with a kind voice. The person introduced themselves as Moxie and stated they found her collapsed not far from their home and managed to patch them up. What Silas failed to realize is that it’s hard to kill a fey. After some time, Viatrix replaced her missing arm and eye and worked on a few additional upgrades. She then managed to take her revenge and burned Silas’s home to the ground, cleared her name, and rose to the status of Archfey. With her revenge complete she started roaming the realms looking for lost souls in need of help finding their way.

After revenge, it’s a lot easier to also make time for content. So on the side, she enjoys streaming a variety of games with a focus on CRPGs, Souls, and rogue likes, multiplayer games (especially Helldivers and Monster Hunter). She loves to challenge herself in games and finds ways to bully the NPCs and cause game-breaking events. Outside of games, she also does community-focused streams. Fans can enjoy community streams once a week, sometimes even more, and she does the occasional speedrun and ASMR stream.
