For those who have read my Vtuber spotlight series, you know I’ve done a lot of these. Which means a lot of different themes have been recurring. However, I still manage to find creators with a theme that I’ve not yet had a chance to write about, and today is one of those days. So here we have a first for this series as I talk all about the kaiju girl Vtuber, Nibiru Myuma.
In the outer reaches of space lies a planet full of kaijus known as the Belliphin. However, over time, most of their race was wiped out, and Myuma found herself a jellyfish alien on the planet Earth. With her mind controlled by a malignant power, her focus was solely on wrecking the tiny cities below and causing as much chaos as possible. Though a champion of Earth stood in the way. A giant of light who battled her every time and, despite her efforts, was always victorious.
Though the giant noticed a change in Myuma. She grew to love the Earth, and it was slowly dwindling her desire to destroy, even at great risk to herself. So the giant had an idea and offered Myuma a special suit. With it, she can disguise herself as a human and live among them. Though it was not a perfect disguise, and some of her kaiju features remained, it was a way to escape her past and start anew. The only caveat was she could never take it off, or else she risked turning back into the mind-controlled, destruction-seeking kaiju. As a human, she now spends her time learning everything she can about the planet and its people. She hopes she can one day meet her kind once again.
Myuma is a variety streamer that loves rougelikes, shooters, cozy and funny games. You’ll often see her streaming games like The Binding of Isaac, Risk of Rain, Subnautica, but she also adds the various games she comes across as well. She’s also an artist, so she’ll mix in some drawing streams, and on rare occasions, fans can either watch her work on graphic designs or build gunplas. In her just chatting streams, you can enjoy a chance to really get to know some of the stuff she’s a fan of such as, tokusatsu, k-pop, graphic design, and even marketing, all right here on Twitch. She’s even in the process of opening up a Vgen. If you love the art you see in her streams, or you’re a Vtuber looking for overlays and graphics, you’ll soon be able to find all of that here.
While you’re at it, you should also make sure to check out her website. There you’ll find links to all of her socials so you can stay on top of all of her content and check out a portfolio of some of the amazing work she’s already done.
