At the core of the art of Vtubers everywhere is the desire to tell some kind of story. A form of self expression or to create a unique character with their own persona and backstory to share with others and many more possibilities. Today we find another creator who has their own series of stories to tell as we stumble to a mysterious land to shine the spotlight on the Coyote Trickster Spirit Vtuber Val Kagaribi but his friends call him Spleen.

Since this is one storyteller talking about another it’s only fitting to put a storytelling spin to this particular spotlight. So one day I just needed to get away and needed a safe place to do so. I wandered for who knows how long following this mysterious light before I came to a campsite and took a seat next to the vibrant flames. I was greeted by a dashingly handsome shaman and a storytelling coyote trickster spirit. I listened as he told me the story of how the world was swallowed by the dark long ago leaving it cold and unforgiving. That was until the first flame brought light into the world and with it came warmth and joy. That light was later captured by Spleen and was the very light in his lantern that led me here.

After telling me the story of the flame he recalled a wide number of tales of his adventures changing his shape to help tell the story. He told me stories of the people he met, various lost travelers and spirits of all kinds and the joy he brought to them with his tales. Feeling well rested I came back to my computer so I can share this one with all of you.
