Convention Stories: I Was Looking for Food and Found a Buffalo Chicken Festival

So this story occurred at Huntsville Comic and Pop Culture Expo 2021. My wife and I were at the convention nonstop that day and were getting really hungry so we decided to look for the food trucks that were advertised by the convention.

Naturally when you look for food trucks you go outside so out we went and we just couldn’t find any. That was till we saw a food truck in the distance about a block away. We thought it was far for a food truck, but we also didn’t see a spot where a food truck could park any closer. So we decided that had to be it. We walked and when we got their we saw an entirely different event taking place. Turns out a local university was having a Buffalo Wing festival and for $15 you could get tickets to use to get wings from various booths and one drink. My wife isn’t a fan of spicy food but I like a little bit of heat on my dishes sometimes, but don’t look at me to try any hot spice challenges. I wound up with quite a lot of wings for $15.

We get back to the hotel and I dine on my spoils while I also order food for my wife. The wings were amazing and I loved most of them, one was too hot for my taste. However, I did suffer some heartburn and indigestion later that day. Was it uncomfortable? Yes, but it was worth it. I even went back the following year.
