So why go through this extravagant change? Well, turns out Monsterkind had found a way to convert human entertainment into energy. So the more they have fun, the better it is for the monsters, and everyone wins. Now it’s not a perfect system as all new ideas have to go through the kinks of testing, trial and error, difficulty scaling, and carefully worded waivers. The tricky business side of things.

Now, what if one of those boss monsters happens to be cool, smart, cute, pretty much inaccessible, and under-rewarding to beat?
