Life often takes unexpected turns. How these turns happen and how many one might experience will vary from person to person. Some can go most of their life and rarely see the unexpected. While others experience it so often that consistency becomes the abnormality. Today’s story involves a Vtuber who has experienced quite a myriad of twists and turns in his life, and we’re here to talk about them all with the story of SlasherShinigami.

Slasher is from a race of hybrids between humans and mythical beings; however, how he came to be is still unknown. He was clearly a dragon, but didn’t quite fit into any particular dragon class. He was separated from his parents at a young age and raised in a shelter for beings like himself. He spent a few years there and, for a time, managed to enjoy a stable life. He studied the ways of the blade from a mentor and a demon named Solice. A being bound to him from the start; however, first appeared during his time at the shelter. Having a bunch of mythically powered children in one place was bound to stir up conflict, and turns out Solice was tied to his anger. He would take control when Slasher experienced intense anger and even endured a powerful electrical shock. Slasher never experienced the pain, but it lingered with Solice even after he got his own body.

All was well until the shelter was attacked. The destruction left him with only the clothes on his back, the skills inherited from his mentor, and Solice. Thankfully, his blade, Entropy, was far from ordinary, as it used to be part of a being so powerful it took the Big Bang to split it apart. The weapon grows with its wielder, and as it grows, it learns new shapes and forms to become its own arsenal of weaponry. The pair was also wanted by an inter-dimensional “peacekeeping” group that saw the pair as an anomaly with a mission to either recruit or eliminate them. However, after the pair allegedly attacked one of the higher-ups of the group, eliminating them became strongly encouraged.

As he traveled the world, he stumbled on an alien who just crash-landed. The two bonded and grew to see each other as siblings, working together to create a home in the woods. However, Slasher longed for the life of an adventurer and couldn’t stay in one place for long. So he continued his journey, making sure to stop by his newfound home to share stories of his adventures. Along the way, he found a new family composed of very unique beings. An ancient Atlantean, a demon-possessed bounty hunter, a mycomancer catgirl with a condor wife. A collective inspired by personal friends of Slasher and Ruby, a Vtuber we’ve seen in this series before. All of these experiences come together to fuel SlasherShinigami’s growth in power and his hyperfixations.
