One of the things I love about traveling to conventions far away from home is the ability to meet all kinds of new creators. One of the ones I met in my trip to LA Comic Con was an artist named Chunky Tomato. Now I was familiar with their Vtuber persona prior to the trip but for this article I’m focused solely on their convention merch.

Chunky Tomato is an incredibly talented artist who has a unique and eye catching art style. You’ll find quite a bit of art of their original OC, Chunky, if I didn’t buy them all beforehand. They also have a lot of art of various franchises like Pokemon and Animal Crossing. I got a print and sticker of K.K. Slider which I absolutely loved and happened to be my wife’s favorite item from the entire convention.

Chunky is also an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community and this commitment to their well being is reflected in their art. They not only sell prints but a variety of stickers including a set of LGBTQ+ holographic Pokemon stickers featuring the Kanto Starters and more. As you can see above I made sure to get the Pokeball one.

Amazing prints and stickers it’s hard to get better than that, but it does. Chunky also sells a wide array of enamel pins from Pokemon, Animal Crossing, Sakura Miku, and more. Like their prints and stickers I got myself a few of their pins as well. A beautiful pair of pins of Squirtle and Totodile. Got to represent my water type specialty after all.
