Continuing with the knight theme is a creator I’ve been following for some time. The story behind RowanVeeTee combines quite a few elements that I personally enjoy. A tale that involves a cyberpunk world, simulations, knights, and more, we have a story that you don’t want to miss. So take a seat and let’s dive into the origins of the Duchess of the Digital Domains, RowanVeeTee. The header art is by Fasunate.art.

Rowan’s origins started in a cyberpunk-like city here on Earth, where she worked as a netrunner and hacker. All was going well, but one day she was caught by a corporation, and using their advanced technology, they absorbed her consciousness into a simulation called Project Clausewitz. A project run by an AI called CABAL that operated independently of the corporations.

Waking up in the simulation, she finds herself in a fantasy world inspired by the medieval era. Taken in by one of the regional powers, she used her incredible mind for strategy and tactics to quickly rise through the ranks. It wasn’t long before she became a top vassal of the reigning Grand Duke. That’s when the powers that be had a major shift, as the Grand Duke, along with all his heirs, died in a misguided campaign. This left the entire Grand Duchy in the hands of Rowan and several others. In a grasp for power, a civil war breaks out, and Rowan found herself the winner with her prize, the crown and title of Grand Duchess.

Moving onto her content, Rowan loves historical games, especially those that are real-time strategy or grand strategy games, including Age of Empires 2 and Europa Universalis. She loves tactical games such as Jagged Alliance 3, sci-fi games including Mechwarrior 5, and RPGs like Rogue Trader and Metaphor: ReFantazio.
