I’ve covered all kinds of creators and for today’s story we venture to the world of spirits and gods. In this world the gods watched over the world by sending spirits to serve as their eyes and ears. Dutiful as these spirits are they all have their own individuality and we get to tell the story of such a spirit as we talk about Lupus Okami.

Lupus is a wolf spirit created by the goddess Ohena. For centuries he tirelessly did his duty as he watched the people of the world. A young boy getting the perfect cake, a family laughing and enjoying each others company and so much more. However, as an outsider he couldn’t help but wish to be a part of this wonderful world. One day during his observations a car sped though the water soaked streets heading towards a man passing the intersection as the pedestrian signal allowed him to cross the road. In a quick reaction Lupus shoved the man back just as the car was passing. The man looked at Lupus’s features with terror but it was important he was saved, for Ohena decreed this man would be the next mayor who would go on to save many lives.

Lupus had no need to fear the dangers of the world as a spirit he had no way to feel physical pain. The matters of the heart are a different story. Lupus continued to look longingly into the vast world and temptation grew ever stronger. One day his curiosity for the games humans play reached a point where he debated just taking a little peek. After all curiosity kills cats, why would he have anything to fear. Even one of his fellow spirits insisted on going.

So Lupus was about to enter the store and he heard a voice behind him. It was Ohena, questioning why he was there with a gentle tone. As Lupus debated telling a story he decided to speak the truth and tell his goddess of his desires to see the world. To his surprise she laughed and empathized with his wish. The spirits are not to directly interact with the world, but the human race has developed many ways to interact indirectly. One such way is with the art of Vtubing. So Ohena sent Lupus on a new mission to observe the world through content creation as a humanoid vtuber with wolf ears and a tail to go with it. No longer the watcher now the world shall watch him.
