Content creation is often a great means of escape for one reason or another. Sometimes the things we are escaping are so hard to deal with that we desperately seek out ways to fix the things that trouble us. Such is the story of the Vtuber Dolly who needed such a cure, but in a deal that didn’t go as planned they found themselves at the mercy of the fae.

Dolly’s life started off as a human and their childhood was far from easy. In an endless sea of trauma they suffered physical and mental scars. One day it became too much for them. The constant nightmares, the flashbacks and more. So they sought after the fae in hopes of a cure. It was a simple deal. The fae wanted their name so they gave it to them. Only the name they gave was their birth name which was a dead name to them. The fae were outraged by this and called this deal “false advertisement.” They turned them into a dolly and trapped them in their collection until Dolly found a way to escape many years later.

After escaping they found life in content creation and you can watch as they do Vroid Studio tutorials and play mainly survival horror games.
