I’m sure by now most of you know I’m a big fan of Pokémon. What many of you might not know is that I favor the water types. I always pick the water starter when I start any Pokémon journey. Today we get to return to the Pokémon world as we talk about the water-type gym leader Vtuber, Reefsnax.

Reefsnax’s story starts in Cerulean City in the Kanto region. A city known for its Gym leader Misty who specializes in water type Pokémon. Inspired by her battling, Reefsnax choose squirtle as her first Pokémon and began her own adventure to become a water-type Pokémon Master. She traveled the various regions studying water Pokémon from all parts of the world, but it wasn’t the easiest journey. She suffered setbacks in the Unova region that put her confidence to the test but thanks to one of her beloved companions her Azumarill, Zuri, she was able to overcome these struggles and rekindle her love for battling.

With a new perspective in life and a goal to not simply command Pokémon, but to uplift them, she made her way to the Alola region. It’s there she met Pikahuna a surfing Pikachu that soon became one of her traveling companions and inspiration for her renewed approach to ride the waves that come at her rather than fight them. Over time her battling caught the attention of Nessa, the water-type gym leader of the Galar region. Now Reefsnax serves as a part time stand in for Nessa when she’s out modeling. So if you ever find yourself face to face with the leader of the Hulbury gym it could be Nessa, or it could be Reefsnax who became known as “The Raxor Reef.” A true gym leader at heart as she helps others grow pulling from her life experiences to inspire others to love Pokémon battling.

As for her streams she has a love for cozy chaos with a competitive twist. Naturally playing a lot of Pokemon content you can find her battling, shiny hunting or doing gym challenges.
