In the world of mortals death is the end of all stories. That’s not the case for the world of Vtubers as any story can continue long after death. Some even get a second chance at life and it raises the question: what would you do with a do over in life? I guess it would depend on how you died in the first place which is something we’ll get to explore as we talk all about Hexavia, or Hex for short.

Hex was born during the days of the Salem Witch Trials. A time where the simple accusation of being a witch would condemn someone to death. Hex found herself the victim of one of those accusations and death was upon her. However, unlike many of the women, she was actually a witch. Using her powers and her rage she cast a curse on herself and markings onto her chest. She was later caught, found guilty and burned like the rest of those who were accused.

Fast forward to 2024 and a young college student taking a trip to Salem for a history project came across Hex’s shadow book. Thinking nothing of it the student took the book back with him to his dorm, cracked open the wax seal and brought Hex back to life. Though the Hex that returned to the world of mortals was very different than the one that left it. She was a ghoul, a creature of immortality who had grown dark and had strange new powers. With those powers she could see into both the human and the spirit realms. She quickly realized the modern era used technology in their everyday life so she dove into the world of streaming to make herself known to humans all across the world.
