My journey so far has taken me to all kinds of places, but for today we revisit a setting that we’ve seen numerous variations of. This time we’re heading back to the forest looking at a story that crosses the world of insects with magic. Here is the story of the insect mage to be, BaroqueOak.

Deep within the forest among the towering trees, far away from human civilization, exist the mages of creation. They live by a rule, to discover as many pursuits as possible and then devote themselves fully to one to realize its potential. That is how one becomes a mage of creation. BaroqueOak is a dragonfly in larva form who lives in an oak tree that has lived for over 200 years. She works tirelessly to find her pursuit as the only one who’s yet to become a Mage of Creation. As she continues this journey she discovers all kinds of wonderful things. One day she will find her pursuit that will lead her to becoming a mage. Her content is a nice reflection of her lore. Being a creative neurodivergent person she ends up doing a lot of different things whether they become long term hobbies or not.
