Since I’ve started this journey I’ve gotten to know a lot of cats. Now honestly I had no expectation of who would reach out to me when this journey started, but it’s been interesting to see what types of creators show up more than others. Cats are definitely high on the list. We’ve had nekos, science cats and now we have a doctor. So today we take our spotlight to get a purr-scription and to shine it at the Medical Cat Vtuber Doctor Purrington.

Today we take a trip to The Long Whiskers Hospital a state of the art healthcare facility for people and animals alike. All comprehensive healthcare is free of charge as long as it’s either a prescription for catnip or heart surgery. Especially free if you happen to need both. This well kept establishment was started by Doctor Whiskers T. Purrington and his incredible wife Kari also known as Nurse Purrington.

Now the hospital is staffed by nearly 2,000 cats to form a rather motley crew performing various jobs. You’ll find felines doing surgery, running the gift shop and in their down time they love to play games, chase rats and ruthlessly claw the furniture. Not while a patient is sitting on it of course. The vibes are always chill because entertainment and quality care are all part of their hippoCATic oath.

Speaking of entertainment the hospital has it’s own Catcha system. Patients and customers alike can pull from one of over 50 cats with more on the way to collect pawprints. If you’re lucky you could win amazing prizes and even earn a spot on their monthly leaderboard.

When the doctor is in you can find him streaming fun games like Genshin Impact, Wuthering Waves, Infinity Nikki, and a diverse mix of co-op roguelikes, indies, and deckbuilders. Even my cat’s a fan as he was glued to the screen on first sight.
