The vastness of the internet has been very generous in giving me creators to feature and this week is no different. We turn to a new corner of the world wide web to the realm of Tik Tok as we feature a creator who actually does most of their content there. Today we shine the spotlight on the Tik Tok Vtuber Blossom Magnolia.

So while most Vtubers decide to go with a lore specific to their Vtuber persona, Blossom Magnolia decided to use their model to as an extension of themselves. Using the creative style of Vtubing they use the art as a way of self expression to the world while having the safety of being anonymous. They have an incredible background in music as a producer for an indie label. Working on hundreds of songs and various tours the work life balance took its toll and caused a serious case of burnout. Blossom Magnolia took some time to recover from that and to reflect on their feelings over helping others with their music while not feeling like they had her own voice in the process.

Inspired by another Vtuber, Kizuna Ai, they found an art form on the internet where people could be their genuine selves. So they used that as a medium to once again have a voice and originally worked on their own music, but started to explore additional passions like anime. This reignited their love for the creative process and gave them the motivation to help step back from the label they helped found.

As for their content they make a lot of anime content focused on some of their favorites like Beyblade and even doing various Beyblade related experiments. With their content we get to see answers to the important questions. Can you Beyblade in a colander? There’s only one way to find out. You can also find them doing various anime reviews and talking about unhinged Evangelion merch. They also provide various vocaloid music and they have plans do to their own live streams very soon.
