It’s at this point where I’m starting to think I need to ask for ideas for unique ways to introduce spotlights because I’m having the amazing situation of having plenty of them to do. We have ourselves another creator that was kind enough to reach out on Bluesky and so today’s spotlight is all about the Science Cat Vtuber Scientific Cryptid.

Space is a vast and very unexplored frontier; however, in a unique part of the galaxy we have cats lots of cats. A scientific collective of intelligent cats surviving on a spaceship. Performing all kinds of experiences these traveling felines have found a way to transmit their adventures back down to earth for us to view on their live streams. Now keep in mind this is an expedition led by an orange cat and if you know cats you know this spells out trouble. Their self described creed “until all of science is tried and tested, this cat ain’t dying any time soon.”

The latest transmissions show the cats doing a wide variety of Minecraft experiments. Sometimes they do lectures of various topics they find interesting but cats are easily distracted and they sometimes don’t have the time to get all of the information. You can also find a lot of other streams focused on all things science and space related.

However, these cats have a long term plan. Probably enough to last nine lives as they also plan to cover experiments in various chemistry textbooks. These brave animals are from an area where the local schools can’t afford to provide these opportunities for their students so this scientific cat collective has taken matters into their own hands. These felines were inspired by a local physics teacher who’s lessons inspired their love for the field. Now to be clear these are experienced science cats and they recommend you don’t try this at home.
