So as many of you know I am a huge fan of voice actors, musicians and artists but what I haven’t talked about yet is my interest in the world of cosplay. I have cosplayed some and I’m a huge fan of people who excel at the craft, especially those who happen to cosplay as some of my personal favorites. I’ve been meaning to do something cosplay related here for some time and I’m finally getting around to doing that starting with someone who’s been an online friend for some time Feytaline or Fey for short.

Fey is someone who is incredibly talented in her craft not just as a cosplayer but she’s also an artist, writer and a photographer. You can see why I’m a huge fan of her work as she is skilled in a lot of awesome stuff. Fey has done cosplays for all kinds of series but my personal favorites are the ones she’s done for Fire Emblem and Ai the Somnium Files.
Fey is also a major advocate for cosplay safety. As some of you know while cosplaying is a beloved way to show your interests in various fandoms there are those who do not understand the boundaries that need to be respected. It’s why we often hear the phrase “cosplay is not consent.” Fey is part of an organization called the Cosplayer Survivor Support Network an online resource full of helpful information. If you’re a victim of someone who violated your boundaries or want to know what conventions actively support cosplay safety this site has it all in one helpful source which you can find here.

Fey is not just a talented cosplayer but a role model for the cosplay community as a whole and I really couldn’t think of a better person to pick to start highlighting cosplayers than her. If you want to check out any of Fey’s work I highly suggest giving her a follow on X formerly known as Twitter.
If you’re a cosplayer that would want to be featured on a future Cosplay Spotlight please feel free to give me a follow here and reach out.
