So the other day we got a very unexpected treat in that Triangle Strategy got an update that not only added some fun quality of life improvements, but an entirely new scene. Now I will note that this scene only really makes sense if you’ve unlocked a certain route in the game and for that reason it’s slightly spoiler territory if you haven’t so bit of a warning there.

As for the scene itself something to note is that there is no gameplay in this new scene at all. It’s just dialogue so no need to feel like you need to readjust to the game and its characters to play this. I know prior to this I was trying to remember my usual strategies since it had been awhile since I played the game.

The story is about the marriage of Serenoa and Frederica so the scene is a huge party celebrating the two of them. Serenoa and Frederica have this really enjoyable heart to heart where Serenoa reveals details about his past that he found out during the course of the game and the two pretty much gush over each other as their peers cheer them on.

One of the really fun parts about the extra scene is when we get to the party itself and we get to see characters have some excellent banter with each other. Most of them are pretty sentimental heart to heart discussions that are packed with emotion and for many characters offer some sort of closure. A few are a bit more on the humorous side which balances the seriousness of some of the conversations quite a bit.

Overall the scene is pretty short and I would have loved to see more of it as I think where it stopped at was a bit early for my taste. I don’t want to be too detailed to avoid spoiling it but I think maybe about five more minutes to the scene and it would have been perfect but what we got was a nice epilogue to an already amazing game.
